Today’s Plan

Today’s plan is to share another one of the cards that I created for the Kissing Technique Challenge. This card uses the lighthearted, humorous Nothing’s Better Than stamp set and the Watercolor Shapes stamp set.

There was no kissing done on the background layers for this card. The Basic White layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″ and the images were stamped to fill in the background. For the Kissing layer, the round stamp was inked with Pale Papaya and the cocktail image was inked with Magenta Madness and then the two stamps were kissed together and the round image was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock. The circle was fussy cut, but looking at it now, I would suggest using the Layering Circles Die to die cut the cocktail image as well as the Scalloped layer under it. Not sure why I fussy cut it? It is popped up with dimensionals. The greetings are stamped directly on the background with Tuxedo Black ink.

Because the colors used on the card were soft and subtle, I decided to matte the images with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ black layer and place it on a Basic Card card base.

After studying the card as I was writing this post, I decided that the card needed some bling! So back to the drawing board. Here is the card with a sprinkling of In Color Jewels.
