This fall themed wedding card features elements from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. The pack contains 40 die cut pieces many with gold foil. The colors coordinate with the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper. The 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Blackberry Beauty DSP has been embossed with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and then sanded and edged with a razor blade tool to distress the layer. I love the distress look and haven’t done it in a long time. It’s like visiting with an old friend, lol.
To stamp on the Gold Foil, use Stazon ink. Be sure to have a nice juicy pad before stamping. I like to have a Stazon refill on hand at all times. Stazon is one ink pad that does seem to dry out. Because the card has a very natural feel, the Fine Art Ribbon isn’t tied in a bow or even knotted but just a strip was added under the greeting. The stitched label is cut with one of the Merriest Frames Dies which comes in a set with the embossing folder. The greeting is included in the Peaceful Moments stamp set which is from the Annual Catalog. It does also have a coordinating die set, Poppy Moments and a sister stamp set called Painted Poppies with a coordinating die set, Painted Labels Dies.
