This card uses the Tulip Fields Bundle which includes the Windmill Fields Dies. I’ not sure which element I had more fun with, the windmill or the tulip field stamp set!
To start, stamp the long, horizon tulip image with Just Jade ink about a third of the way up from the bottom. Next stamp the three Highland Heather rows of tulips, clean the stamp and add in the two Poppy Parade tulip rows. Then use a Blending Brush and color the top portion of the paper with Pool Party ink to make the sky.
Before die cutting the bicycle and windmill building detail pieces, add some sheet adhesive to the back of the cardstock. When you remove the adhesive backing many of the little die cuts will come out. It’s still easier than adding liquid glue to all of it. The windmill blades are attached with a brad and will actually spin. Just make sure that the blades can be turned so that they fit in the envelope. The greeting is stamped with VersaMark ink and Copper Embossing Powder was used. Then it was die cut with the smallest Tailored Tags Die. A bit of Linen thread was added and a glue dot attaches it to the bicycle to make it look like a flag attached to the bicycle. The label is popped up with dimensionals. The cloud dies are included with the Windmill Fields Dies and really make the sky colors show up.
I’m hoping that the person who receives this card will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. I like that it can be used for just about any occasion, or for no occasion at all but just because I feel like sending someone a card.
FYI it’s SALE-a-bration time! For each $50 purchase made, choose a free item from the SALE-a-bration Event catalog! Right now, my fav is the Special Moments stamp set. (I sometimes have a different favorite every day, lol) Twenty-one awesome greetings! I’m lovin’ it! It’s a $100 level item but with 21 images WOW, well worth using 2 redemptions to get it.
