Garden Shed

The Home & Garden stamp set first caught my eye because I’m an avid gardener. I loved all of the trowels, gloves, nippers and yard tools. I’ve always thought it would be nice to have a cute little garden shed to pot plants in and store my tools. Alas, instead I have them scattered in the garage, the basement, and the barn. So I thought I would create my own garden shed with a card instead.

This is a very simple garden shed card. The In Good Taste Designer Paper (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) is glued to the front of a standard card base. To cut off the top corners to create the roof, measure and mark the center (2 1/8″) then measure and mark 1″ down on each side and cut off the corners.

The tools and greeting are stamped directly onto the card front and then colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers in Smoky Slate and Pale Papaya. The greeting even has a swish of the Pale Papaya added over it to make it stand out more.
