Today’s card and video feature coloring using the Soft Pastel Assortment and a Wink of Stella brush to apply the color. This method sets the Soft Pastels so that the chalk doesn’t smudge as well as adding a nice shimmer to the image.
Simply scrape (I used the spatula end on my Take Your Pick Tool) some of the chalk from the Soft Pastel stick onto a clear block. Use the Wink of Stella brush to pick up the chalk and then apply to the image.

- Basic Black Card Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4
- Friendly Hello Designer Paper 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Basic Black 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- Basic White 3″ x 3″
- Basic White 5 1/4″ x 4″ for inside liner

I just had to give it a try, and created the card above. I switched up the flower colors on this card as well, just to keep it interesting.
