I’ve been seeing so many butterflies lately around flowers here in Fort Myers that I decided to pull out my Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and have some butterfly fun! The Butterfly Brilliance stamp set is one large stamp covered with individual butterflies which can be cut out using the coordinating die or used to create a whole flutter of butterflies on a card.

The large stamp covered the entire front of the card. A strip of Vellum Layering Designs paper in the center has a strip of Cinnamon Cider cardstock is layered under the vellum. Both of these strips are 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″.

The die cut butterflies are colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers and then covered with Wink of Stella to add shimmer. They are attached with liquid glue only in the center so that the wings flap a bit. The greetings are from the Prince & Princess Hostess stamp set and are stamped on Calypso Coral paper. I’ve added a few Matte Black Dots. They always make me think of Tiger Lilies.

Inside a 1/2″ x 5″ strip of Flowering Fields Designer Paper was added. It really matched well with the colors on this card.
