Birthday Scrapbook Page

One of my goals for this winter’s trip in Florida was to get lots of scrapbooking done. I’m down to the last few weeks of my trip and have 2 pages done. Actually, once 1 because I’m still not happy with the other one. lol. I have however, gotten in lots of reading time!

I just sent off Isaac’s birthday card in the mail, I’m sad that I’m going to miss his birthday party this year. When we get home, I’m planning on having an Isaac Day with grandma and grandpa. I caught a bunch of photos of him blowing out his candle and they were so cute that I decided to do a series of them for the page. It was such a fun day with all the cousins and nice enough so that they could run around outside playing with the 4 wheelers. I think though, that it made me more homesick seeing all the photos of the grandkids.

I had a great time at the Twins game yesterday! I was really happy when the sun went behind the clouds occasionally so we didn’t totally bake. The Twins even won!

Now to share the products that I used making my scrapbook page in case you would like to recreate something that you see.

The candle blowing photos are fussy cut and don’t have any matts. To cut the circles I used new cutting plates when cutting with the Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine to avoid getting marks on the photos. I usually use a circle cutter instead of my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine but I forgot to bring it along. The little dots by the word zoom are from the Tailor Made Tags Dies and are the little reinforcements. The Happy Birthday is from the Birthday Chicks Dies. I wish it had been a bit bigger but it was what I had with me, lol. And I bet my hubby thought I had brought my whole stamp room when he helped me carry it out, hahaha.
