Ocean Inspired Sampler

With all the beautiful beaches here in the Fort Myers, Florida area, I was inspired to make an ocean themed sampler to hang in my camper. I pulled out all of my stamp sets with ocean themes. I was surprised that there were so many of them. Oceans of Inspiration, Whale Done, Oceanfront, Friends Are Like Seashells, Gentle Wave, Paradise Palms and those are just the ones that I own!

Palms Dies, New Horizon DSP on Coastal Cabana
Whale Done, Waves of the Ocean DSP, on Coastal Cabana
Whale Done, Waves of the Ocean on basic black with Wink of Stella added to jelly fish
Whale Done, Waves of the Ocean DSP on Night of Navy
Whale Done, Waves of the Ocean DSP on basic black
Friends Are Like Seashells, Pearlized Paper, Waves of the Ocean DSP on Coastal Cabana
Friends Are Like Seashells-Layering Vellum, Waves of the Ocean DSP on Coastal Cabana
Waves of Inspiration, Whale Done, Waves of the Ocean DSP on Blue Foil
Waves of Inspiration on Blue Foil

These are the nine squares that I came up with. Then when I put them together I actually decided to add a 2 1/4″ layer of Misty Moonlight under all of them to pull the colors together better. Of course, I had to add some bling (we girls like shinny stuff!) Remember, any of these square could be used on a card front.

Some squares got the Faux Sea Glass and others got real seashells or bits of shells that I found. The shells are attached with glue dots, several on each shell. The center one with the words got an In Color Jewel. The base is another piece of the Waves of the Oceans Designer Series Papers. I love this Paper! Be sure to order it soon because it is NOT going to be in the available in the next catalog.

Here it is hanging on the wall in my camper aka the Mobile Roost.
