When I started making today’s card, my plan was to use the Birds & Branches stamp set, but, as usual my mind went a different direction, lol. I pulled out the coordinating Birds & More Dies and so much fun with the shapes that I decided to make them the focus of the card. In the end I did use the Birds & Branches stamp set for the branch the bird is sitting on.

The leafy circle die actually doesn’t cut out the circle, so I used the largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies to cut it out. I didn’t have it perfectly centered so it got really thin on the one side but it worked.

The greeting is from the Bragworthy stamp set, hence the name of this post, Bragworthy Birds. It is stamped on a piece of Mango Melody with Cinnamon Cider ink and popped up with dimensionals. I love the way the greeting fit in one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. The Tasteful Labels Dies are retiring and if you don’t already have it, I suggest purchasing it! The edge of the card front is die cut with one of the fun Basic Border Dies and a strip of Hearth & Home Designer Series Paper is added to the inside so that the pretty border stands out.

It’s my last day here in our new Florida home until next winter. As I was writing this post, I looked out the window and saw this heron sitting on the neighbors pontoon boat. Last evening I planted my potted plants in the ground and they got a nice watering when it rained last night. I’m hoping that they aren’t all dried up brown sticks when I return. Everything needs to be tucked away so that if a hurricane hits when we gone it doesn’t fly around and hurt someone. In Minnesota we worry about things freezing when we close up the cabin, lol. We’re learning a whole new set of close up the cabin protocols.
