Today’s card features the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper which may or may not be available when you read this. It is on the retiring list and is available as I’m writing, but these items are as supplies last so, no promises. This card design though is something that you could easily recreate with different paper or even a different shaped die.

I’ve used 2 of the Beautiful Shapes dies to create the layered hexagon shapes. Die cut 8 or 10 pieces of the cardstock layer and the same amount of the designer series paper. I used some smaller pieces of the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper that I had left from previous projects. I kept to the orangey colored designs for this card and used Pale Papaya, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight cardstock colors.

I started with the larger peach shape and placed it roughly in the center, measure the location if you want it perfectly aligned. First adhere the designer paper to the cardstock and lay all the piece out to see where they look best.

After adhering all of the complete pieces onto the 4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Mango Melody paper, mark the partial pieces with a pencil and cut with a paper snips. The greeting is from the Through It Together stamp set which has 21 unique greetings. A single Artistry Blooms Sequin was added for interest and the greeting is popped up with dimensionals. A piece of Scalloped Lace was wrapped around the Mango layer and adhered to the back.
I apologize if the colors are a bit off on the photos. My husband and I are in our camper driving home to Minnesota from wintering in Florida and my photo booth is packed under the bed that my husband is sleeping in. He does all the driving, (I don’t think anyone would want to be on the road with me, pulling this camper, lol, and I napped half the day), so here I am awake and stamping.
We should make it home tomorrow. My son tells me that I have lots of Stampin’ Up! packages waiting for me. I also have a booth at the Winsted Women’s Expo on Saturday morning, for which I am totally unprepared! If you are in the area, be sure to stop by and say hello.
