It’s a rainy Friday morning here at The Roost. A great day to craft or (horrors) catch up on cleaning (the house ALWAYS gets neglected in the summer). SALE-a bration is still going on but as we near the end items will be running out of stock so don’t delay to get your orders in. The Pool Party card bases and envelopes ran out in the first 2 weeks! Yikes, I bet they didn’t foresee those going so fast. My very favorite item, Tree Lot Dies, is now sold out. I saw that one going fast, what an awesome set for FREE! Now some new items have been added and wow, there are some high dollar ones on the list. These new items are all from the current catalog offering but you can earn them for FREE during SALE-a-bration. For example, the Aspen Tree Dies are on page 46 of the July to December Mini catalog and cost $36 but you can get it for FREE with a $100 order, or the Dots & Spots Die which is normally $32. Or if you love flowers, how about the Daffodil Die set which would set you back $38 to purchase at any other time but now. Add the coordinating stamp set to your order an have the whole set!
The big Woo Hoo! that Lisa used on this quick and cute card is from the Amazing Phrasing $100 Level SALE-a-bration stamp set. The smaller greeting is from the fun Charming Sentiments Bundle (let the matching dies do the work cutting out these phrases!) The greetings are layered onto a tag cut with the Tailored Tags Punch.
Dawn’s card features the gorgeous woodsy Rings of Love SALE-a-bration paper which coordinates with the Ringed with Nature Bundle but is an awesome stand alone product too. The greeting is from the Ringed with Nature stamp set and was punched out with the Cloud Punch. Dawn has used a fun fold layout that I thought interesting so here are the paper dimensions for you:
- Night of Navy Base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Crumb Cake 8″ x 5 1/4″ Scored at 2 3/4″ and 6 3/4″
Wink of Stella was added to the birds and the dark sprigs. There are three Rustic Metallic Dots emphasizing the greeting.
Lynn’s quick and easy card starts with one of those very popular Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam card bases which sold out in under 2 weeks. The pretty floral designed paper is from the Rings of Love SALE-a-bration paper pack and the greeting is from the Amazing Phrasing SALE-a-bration stamp set punched out using the Label Me Fancy Punch.
Rachael’s Hippest Hippo is so DETAILED, WOW! The shoes, the shirt, the umbrella hat and glasses, it’s really great. The sponge dauber background.
I’m not sure how I missed Kelly’s Wonderful World card when I showcased them a few weeks ago. This card uses another fun fold technique. Instead of cutting the card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ cut it 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ so that the front is short and the inside shows.
I just had to show these last 2 Tree Lot Dies cards even though the dies are no longer available. This card uses another of my go to die sets, the Deckled Rectangle Dies. The trees in the background are a piece of the Ringed with Love SALE-a-bration DSP. This card also uses the Trees for Sale stamp set and the retired On the Horizon stamp set.
My final card for today is another featuring the Tree Lot Dies. I love the curtains in the window.
