Add some froth to a root beer mug using the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint for a fun little something extra. The Brewed for You stamp set offers a versatile array of beverage glasses.

The card base is cut an inch short so that the inside edge of the card shows when the card is closed. Start with a 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ piece of cardstock and score at 4 1/4″. The 2 pieces of He’s the Man Designer Series Paper are cut 3″ x 5 1/2″ and 1″ x 5 1/2″.

The root beer is stamped with Soft Suede ink and the froth is Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. To use the Puff Paint, shake well, apply a thin layer, then heat with a heat gun. Just like embossing powder the Puff Paint will singe if too hot so keep moving the heat gun and watch it closely. Watch my Brewed For You Video Tutorial to see the foam brewing. It’s also best to give the ink a few minutes to dry before adding the Puff Paint so that the ink doesn’t bleed into the Puff Paint.
The Basic White piece is 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ then layered onto a 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Crumb Cake. There is also a 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Basic White adhered on the inside for the greeting area.
Of course, if you prefer beer, simply switch out the ink color and use Daffodil Delight instead.

This card uses a piece of vellum for the froth, Black & White Designer Series Paper pieces and Basic Gray matting for a bit different take on the same card layout. Which paper will you use to make this card your own creation?
