Veteran Resource Center

Yesterday I visited my friends Kerri and Kim at the Veterans Resource Enrichment Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota. They moved into a new larger space and I got a tour as well as some stamping time. It’s an amazing space for veterans and their families to access needed resources, hold meetings, and relax. They also have a really cool store where they sell items made by the veterans.

The dozen cards that we created will be for sale in their store. We did try to talk the guys into joining us but this time around they were too shy.

We created this fun witch using the Bewitching Bundle from the current Mini Catalog. It’s a quick and easy card to create with lots of white space for a clean look. The center Basic White image layer is 4 1/4″ x 3″ with a designer paper matte of 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″.

This card uses one of my favorites, the Spooky Cat Bundle which is retired. The designer paper is actually a really old, retired, Valentine paper with a black and white side. The new Black & White Designs Designer Paper would work great, but I didn’t know how many to expect and I’ve used up most of my pack so didn’t have enough left.

Product List – All of the products used on this card except for the ink, black cardstock and Metallic Mesh Ribbon were from my retired stack but I thought that I would list the items for those of you that have a pile of stuff, like me. Or, if you fall in love and want to search the internet for the stamps or punch, it will be easier to know the name and item number.
