Happy Saturday! The Sweet Sunflower Paper Pumpkin Kit is filled with gorgeous fun floral images. Even the envelopes are gorgeous! I’ve made twos card just like the directions indicated, then I decided to play with the supplies and make some unique cards. For the third set of bases, I’ve still got two more bases left and my mind is spinning with ideas for them…

The above card is made to the directions in the kit.

For this card, I front is scored at 2 1/8″ and the leaf is fussy cut and popped up to create a stop for the front. The sunflower is added over the fold with 2 die cut circles which have been scored in half. One side of each is glued to the sunflower and the other half is glued to the card front, over the the score. The pretty designer strip on the inside is from the Hues of Happiness paper pack.

This sunflower has a layer of Wink of Stella applied to blend the color and add a nice sparkle.

For the above card, I swapped the greeting label for the sunflower and stamped the greeting directly onto the card front.

This is the second card design, created to the directions. Just beautiful!

This card uses one of the fun extra gold honeycomb pieces that come in the kit. The center part is cut out with paper snips to create a window for the pretty flowers.

This card uses the cut out portion of the gold honeycomb piece from the card before. A Soft Suede card bases was added and a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Mossy Meadow layer embossed with the Leaf Fall Embossing Folder. The sunflower is stamped on a piece of So Saffron which is due cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. It’s layered onto a Soft Suede die cut from the Layering Circles Dies. This sunflower was stamped twice and also has Wink of Stella added. Love that stuff!

This card is also scored at 2 1/8″ on the front and folded in. The extra flowers are adhered slightly hanging over the edge. The inside has a piece of Hues of Happiness DSP added and then a 2 5/8″ square is placed diamond way and stamped with bees and a greeting.

The little hello greeting is added to the folded over inside front.

This final card for today only uses the stamp set. All of the other supplies are from my stash. There is a Basic White Thick Base, Cottage Gingham 4 1/4″ x 5 1/4″, Soft Suede 2 3/4″ Square and Basic White 2 5/8″ Square.
