Swap Card Friday

Do you do FALL HOUSE CLEANING? Like washing walls and windows, moving furniture and cleaning carpets? I used to do the whole house top to bottom but as I’ve gotten older I don’t have the energy for that anymore. Also, after my mom passed I don’t have anyone to really enjoy it being clean with me. The guys only notice if there are piles of dirt in their path, not wether the fingerprints have been washed off the light switches. I do still like to clean the windows though so that I can see out of them. I live on a gravel road so the windows never stay clean but it looks so nice for a few hours after I’m done. So after sharing that I feel like I should have a card with a window on it, hehehe.

Holly’s card using the Ringed with Nature Bundle has some windows on the house so I thought I would share her card today. It also uses the Tree Rings Embossing Folder which can be purchased either with the Ringed with Nature stamp set or with Tree Rings Dies. The house and roof are two separate stamps so that you can have them different colors. The stamps are clear photopolymer so lining them up is a snap. The pretty pine cone paper is from the returning Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. The pretty Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon also goes well with my window theme for today!

I hope that you are inspired by Holly’s card. Tomorrow I will be sharing a card that was made during a Mystery Card Challenge. It’s been a few month’s since I’ve done one and for this one I chose the the Sweetest Christmas Suite for my theme.

These are the bundles which are being used for the online World Card Making Day Event. Purchase these or choose similar stamps from your stamp library.
