Our camping trip has been blessed with AWESOME weather! Yesterday we were hiking in Pattison State Park, enjoying the water falls, without jackets! Some years we have had on snowsuits and been making snowmen.
Today’s card combines the Peaceful Deer punch with the fun Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper and Dies. It’s a great match!
The card base is 7 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″ with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Sweet Candy Cane Designer Series Paper.
For stamping the Merry Christmas greetings, a Stamparatus was used to get them evenly spaced. It’s easy to do by ‘jumping’ the plate down a notch each time stamping . The large candy cane has been die cut from the Sweetest Christmas designer paper.
Both the white oval and the Glimmer Frame have been die cut with the Fitting Florets Dies. The dancing deer has been punched from one of the Sweetest Christmas DSP designs.
The reverse side of the DSP can be seen on the inside of the card front. I like that both sides of the patterned paper show with this card layout. A second candy cane die cut from the DSP repeats on the inside of the card with a greeting and tree image inked with Garden Green ink.
