Hello, happy Wednesday! Between my morning Creative Cards Class and my evening class, I found some time to make my October Paper Pumpkin Kit and even made one alternative of each card.

The card on the left is the kit card and the one on the right is my take on the card using supplies that I had on hand. I absolutely LOVE this Santa face stamp! I have to work a bit to get the coloring on the face as cool as the fit one.

I forgot and used Merry Merlot instead of Tuxedo Black so the ink bled with the alcohol markers. I plan on making more of these and getting it right!

The Paper Pumpkin kit card is on the top and my design is on the bottom. The kit had the ‘o’ for the joy but showed using the Santa, so there were three O’s left over. I don’t have any current alphabet stamp sets but do have a few retired ones. These are from the Occasions Alphabet stamp set from about 2014.

I have two more O’s to play with yet! The two strips o DSP behind the vellum are from the Sweetest Candy Canes Designer Series Paper.

The final card in the kit features a Santa & Sleigh flying. I’m a sucker for images of flying reindeer! The card in the kit comes with die cut hohoho in both vellum and red, a die cut frame and the pretty printed starry sky. My version starts with a Starry Night base. The sky is colored with a blending brush and Orchid Oasis ink. I know that I’m going to using this flying reindeer stamp for more of my Christmas cards this year.
