Today’s card features one of the Hostess items. Each Stampin’ Up! catalog has items, usually found on the last few pages, which are special items that can be purchased only with Stampin’ Rewards. Stampin’ Rewards are earned on any order over $150. It can be a party or a single customer order or even a demonstrator order. There is a short period, before the catalog goes live, that demonstrators can order these items for full price, but once the catalog period starts, the only way to purchase these special hostess items is with Hostess Rewards at the special reduced price.

I was at my daughter’s yesterday and she was telling me her mouse tales. After living in her home for 10 years with no mouse issues, this fall a mischief of mice moved into her house! (I looked it up that’s real term!) She was telling me how she and my daughter-in-law captured one in a box and released it outside. My first thought was, I hope that my son did a good job plugging up those holes! Anyway, it put me a mousey mood, so I pulled out the Caroling Mice stamp set.

The images are all stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The background was very lightly (it’s not watercolor paper) painted with a wash of Balmy Blue ink using a Water Painter brush. Everything else was colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Wink of Stella was added to the snowflakes, lamplight and hat pompoms. The starry paper is from the Hostess pack called Celebrate Everything and it cut 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ to cover the entire card front. The image layer is 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and the Daffodil Delight matte is 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″.
I hope that the only mice you see in your house are the ones on this card! Have a wonderful day.
Product List – I didn’t list the colors of Stampin’ Blend Markers that I used, because I forgot to leave them out and honestly don’t remember exactly which colors I used. Sorry 😦
This chart shows how many Stampin’ Rewards are earned for each order level. Remember, it can be a party of one!
