Today’s card uses a simple minimal coloring technique to make these fun North Pole Mischief images easier and faster to use. By coloring just a bit of the image it brings it to life and adds interest while cutting done on the time needed to color the entire image.

Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Markers were used to color in the items on the image. Do you think this kitty has a simple kiss under the mistletoe in mind?

To keep it simple I’ve used a Thick Basic White Base, but to add some quick dimension, the image is stamped on a 3 1/2″ x 3″ piece of regular Basic White. A Basic Black 4 1/4″ x 3″ matte is added to make the image stand out from the white background. Remember, matting doesn’t always have to be evenly spaced around the image! Mix it up sometimes. The 1″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Sweetest Christmas DSP adds another pop of color.
