North Pole Mischief

Hello, we have a fresh layer of snow on the ground this morning and it looks so pretty. I’m going to be putting the last coat of paint on a wall today and then packing away the painting supplies until next summer, YAY! Have I mentioned before that I HATE painting walls!! For every 15 minutes of painting, I spend an hour of prepping, a 1/2 day of procrastinating, plus another week of complaining.

So you may have noticed that I’m an animal lover through and through! I was not going to purchase the North Pole Mischief stamp set, and then…somehow, it came on my last order, lol. I am a stamp addict! So, do you ever look at the stamps and then decide that the critters are boys or girls? To me this pup is a boy and the cat is a girl. I haven’t come up with names for them yet, do you have any ideas? Spot and Fluffy?

I did start with a larger piece of cardstock and once I had all of the stamping and coloring done, cut it down because I wanted more of the pretty Celebrate Everything DSP to show. I have included all of the Stampin’ Blend colors that were used in the list at the bottom. Here are the paper dimensions:

  • Shaded Spruce Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4
  • Celebrate Everything Designer Paper (Host) 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Real Red 5″ x 3″”
  • Basic White 2 3/4″ x 4 3/4″

I just love the expressions on these two! We have a 1 year old golden retriever and an older cat. The pup always wants to play with the cat and the cat hates the pup. I’ve seen these expressions on both of them.

Remember to check out the Retiring Sale for the Mini Catalog, starting on December 1. If there is something that you really want, I would suggest ordering right away, especially if it is on sale! These items are while supplies last and often go quickly.
