You may have noticed that I didn’t get a blog post done yesterday. By the time we got to our Florida home and unpacked, we had time for a quick swim in the pool and then enjoyed a bowl of soup (provided by my friend Sandy) and fell asleep.

Today’s card features the Thanks a Bunch stamp set from the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog.

The center white piece is 2 3/4″ x 4″ and the greeting was stamped and then covered with a post it note that was cut to just fit over the greeting, while the large carrot was stamped over and over to fill the whole width. The two-step stamp gives the carrots some texture. Then it’s adhered to a matte of garden green that is 3″ x 4 1/4″.

The pretty Country Gingham Designer paper is 4″ x 5 1/4″ and the card base is thick basic white. The Black and White Gingham Ribbon is tied with a small bit of linen thread for a more organic, gardeny look.

We’re off with the visiting grandkids to Legoland today. My first inclination is to lay on the deck and read a book, but the kids are only here for a few days so we have to get in all the activities we can on their list.
