Shimmer and Glimmer Blog Hop

The last STARS blog hop of the year is all about being shinny! Be sure to check out all of the entries this time to catch some inspiration.

My card features the Bamboo Beauty stamp set and a Step Card Fun Fold. The Shimmer and Glimmer on my card comes from the gorgeous Distressed Gold Specialty paper. I love how the Crushed Curry bamboo even takes on a gleam from the shinny paper surrounding it. You may notice that the label on this card is actually shorter than the die from the Seasonal Label Dies. To make it shorter, simply cut with the label placed where it is wanted to end on one side. After cutting, reposition the label inside the die, cutting the opposite end were desired.

This fold is pretty easy to create and the card comes together quickly. The paper dimensions are as follows:

Card Base 1 – 4 1/4″ x 11″ score at 1″, 2″, and 6 1/2″
Card Base 2 – 2 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ score at 3″
Decorative Strips 2 each 1″ x 4 1/4″
Decorative Strip 1 only 3/4″ x 4″
White Liner 4″ x 4 1/4″
