Today is the last day to order any items from the July to December Mini Catalog and tomorrow Sale-a-bration starts!
My friends and family in Minnesota were sending me photos of all the snow that was coming down there yesterday. I was worried about my daughter who had been down to visit us and was driving back home. She ended up stopping in Rochester instead of driving all the way home to Mound last night. It was in the 80’s here in Florida yesterday and we were gardening and swimming. It doesn’t seem like winter here, not that I’m complaining.
Today I’m sharing a simple Valentine card made with the Love Cats stamp set. I have several grandkids who are real cat lovers so this set was in my first round picks. I even got one of them, Wyatt, a shirt that says, “Just a boy who loves cats”. He was so happy, he also got a hat with cat ears and a pair of pants with cats. He put them all on right away, it was so cute.

I did find that I needed to use my Stamparatus to get a nice solid black cat. The stamps do have some spots and the leg lines that are left uninked but I just wasn’t happy with the depth of color with the stamps mounted on a block.

My original intent was to put a layer of designer paper on the card base, but when I laid the matted cat image onto a white card base I loved the way it looked and decided to stop right there. All I did was use a Poppy Parade marker to color in the heart and popped the whole matted image up with dimensionals.

To add a little more fun, a second cat was stamped on the corner of the envelope.
I hope that you have a great day no matter what the weather is in your area. Be safe if you have to drive on nasty roads.
