I had so much fun making the last hodgepodge collage card that I just had to make another. Today’s card features the Beautifully Happy Sale-a-bration stamp set and the Butterfly Kisses and Tea Boutique Designer Series Papers.
First off, I’d like to apologize for the photo quality. The light seems to be way different here than in my Minnesota home and I just haven’t figured it out yet. Probably by the time I’m about to head back to Minnesota I’ll have it right and then it’ll take me a month to get my camera gear set back to Minnesota sunshine, lol.
This card is very similar to the one that I shared a bit ago, except of course that I had different sized scraps to use. I did decide to adhere the scraps on the top layer right to the edge of the matte and didn’t leave any of the matte showing. The white label is from the Seasonal Label Dies.
A piece of Balmy Blue/White Ribbon was wrapped around the bottom layer and Metallic Parakeet Party Ribbon around the top layer. I did actually use a ruler to mark the middle of each layer so that the ribbons would be aligned. The flowers and greeting are fussy cut.
Three of the cute little Fun Flower Resin Shapes were added in colors matching the paper that they sit on. I loved that I was able to use the scrap with the tea pots and that the greeting fit under the little envelope.
I hope that this inspires you to look at your designer paper scraps and make a fun card with them.
