Today’s cards are all about Love. With Valentine’s Day fast approaching it seemed like a great time to share some love.
On this card, Denise has combined the words from the Love For You Bundle and the cool waffle cone from the Share a Milkshake Dies. I love the way that she used the hearts for the ice cream! The red heart patterned paper is from the Country Floral Lane Designer Paper and the heart pearl between two regular pears is an awesome touch. It’s hard to see in the photo but the red background paper has been embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder.
Dena’s card has a way different look than Denise’s card but uses much of the same products. The same Love For You Bundle with those awesome die cut words, and believe it or not, the same pack of designer paper. Although it’s hard to see in this photo, the embellishments are the Pastel Backed Sequins and match the colors on this card perfectly. They come in three colors, Gold, Balmy Blue and Petal Pink.
I’d also like to point out the way Dena has die cut the frame for the Balmy Blue background with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then has also die cut the center, Petal Pink layer, to snuggle perfectly inside.
I hope that you are inspired by these creative cards! What I need now is some ambition to get my address book out (on the computer, two clicks away from where I am now, hahaha) and get my Valentine’s ready to send! I love being able to spend our winters here in Florida but I so do miss my grandkids back in Minnesota.
