It’s been a tough week for me this week. My depression has been hitting me hard and my pup (almost 12 years old) hurt himself jumping out of bed one night. He’s been all crippled up and my worries about him have added to my depression. One bright spot has been the weather here in Florida which has been gorgeous unlike at our home in Minnesota.
To cheer myself up, I thought I would share some upbeat fun cards today. This card by Dawn Chamberlain features the fun Taco Fiesta. Holy Guacamole it’s hard to be depressed looking at this fun card! I actually don’t like guacamole but this little avocado is pretty cute with his sombrero. There aren’t any dies with this stamp set but the images are easy to fussy cut. The set was inspired by million Dollar Sales Achiever Demonstrator Erica Cerwin.
The card front has decorative score lines and the focal image is actually a belly band for a unique twist.
This next cheerful card by Denise Quate uses the Best Day stamp set which is one that I actually overlooked in the Mini Catalog. As well as this cheerful cake, the set includes an adorable fat cat-cake.
