Today’s card isn’t actually swap card but is an Easter card that I received from my Daughter-in-law Karissa. Karissa is an on and off again member of my Hollywood Stamping Chicks team, mother of 3 active boys and a talented artist. Recently, her husband (my son Nick) had to have surgery and will be recuperating for the next 6 weeks so I sure wasn’t expecting her to have time to make cards!
Karissa’s card is a great example of a card using minimal products and would be easy for a beginning stamper to recreate. It uses the Rejoice in Him stamp set and 3 strips of patterned paper. The main image is punched but could also be done as a square. The leaf has been colored with markers and some swipes of colors were added under the words to draw attention.
