There is a new fishing stamp set on my crafting table and I’m just getting started! This whole Let’s Go Fishing Suite is AWESOME! It includes the Let’s Go Fishing Patterned Paper, Gone Fishing Dies and Stamp Set, and the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.
I’ve actually got two cards for you today. One has a matching video tutorial and the other uses the Double Oval Punch as well as the Gone Fishing Dies for a Use a Punch Challenge.

The first card has a video tutorial showing how the fish was colored. This two-step stamp leaves the fins all white and these were colored in using a Blender Pen. Both cards use a standard Basic White Thick card base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/2″. The other measurements are a bit different, here are the dimensions for this card:
- Misty Moonlight 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper 3″ x 3 3/4″
- Basic White 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
- Basic White scraps for fish and bobber
- 5 1/2″ strip of Balmy Blue/White Variegated Ribbon

This card uses the Double Oval Punch for the fish instead of die cutting it out. Two additional ovals were punched to create a shadow behind the fish. For this card, the greeting that I wanted to use didn’t fit where I wanted to put it…so after stamping the greeting it was cut apart and then rearranged to fit in the space.
Paper Dimensions for Good Things Card:
- Misty Moonlight 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Let’s Go Fishing DSP 4″ x 3″
- Misty Moonlight for ovals
- Basic White for fish and greetings

Here is a close up of the fish. The outline is stamped with Lost Lagoon and the fill in stamp was done with Calypso Coral ink. The Lemon Lolly fins were colored using a Blender Pen.
