Do you have someone who makes you little hand made, stitched gifts? This card is for all of those crafty knitters, crocheters and crafters out there who share their talents. Let them know that you care.
The greeting, stamped with Real Red ink, is from the Pansy Patch stamp set. The Twisted Rope embossing folder is actually part of the Let’s Go Fishing Suite but darn, it makes pretty cool yarn too! To give it a bit more depth, a Bubble Bath ink pad was dragged across the embossing folder before embossing and then a sponge dauber was used to add more ink to the edges.
This card is being used for a monthly challenge for the STARS demonstrator group and the theme for this card is to use markers. The llama has been colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers. Here are the colors that were used: Real Red, Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay and Lemon Lolly. I always love playing with brand new markers because they are so juicy! I think this may be the first card that I’ve made using the llama from the Zany Zoo set. Doesn’t she look like a queen on her throne with the stitched die cut circle?
Both the Basic White circle and the Basic Black square are die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. The Pecan Pie layer has been die cut with the Stitched with Whimsy Dies to add some more detail. Here are the paper dimensions:
