Happy Thursday! I have hundreds of stamp set that are retired and I’m sad that I have so little time to play them, so today I’ve pulled out a couple of sets and created a birthday card.

I started out thinking about new Thoughtful Octopus stamp set, an Online Exclusive which came out in May. It’s on my wish list, with a few other things (okay, lots of other things). I was looking through a box of stamps which came to me from another demonstrator and found this cute little octopus.

I used a layout from a card class that Stampin’ Up! shared with demonstrators in our weekly email. (Another fun perk of being a demonstrator) Their card had a spritzed background but I chose to use some of the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper (retired, right in line with our throw back Thursday theme) that I still have a half pack of.

The Hey Kid greeting comes from another retired set. I used a few more stamps from the second set for the inside.

I think I need to have my grandson Wyatt give me some pointers on building a tree house, lol.

The first person who leaves a message with the name of both of these stamp sets will get this card mailed to them.
