Today I have more cards created with the Caring Animals stamp set. Watch my Caring Animals Video Tutorial to see one of the Huge Thanks cards created and get some tips for working with this set.

I started working with the alligator and played around with several techniques and colors. This guy was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and colored with the Old Olive Watercolor Pencil. After quickly adding the pencil color, a Wink of Stella pen was used to blend the color and add shimmer. The thermometer and ice pack were done with a Real Red pencil the same way.

Paper Dimensions:

• Thick White Base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• Mossy Meadow matte 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Brushed with Beauty DSP 5 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
• Basic White 4″ x 2 1/2″

This card is for all of you ‘Hate to color crafters”. The alligator is heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder on Mossy Meadow cardstock. The Tree Ring Embossing Folder (Available July 1) was used on the Granny Apple Green layer. The tiny tag line is from a retired set, Unbounded Love.

Paper Dimensions for the embossed alligator:

• Thick Basic White Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• Granny Apple Green matte 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
• Mossy Meadow 4 1/4″ x 2 1/2″

This guy was stamped in black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers.

A Smoky Slate outline was added to make him stand out more and to cover my mistake, lol.

Lion Dimensions:

• Basic White Thick Base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
• Splash of Sparkles DSP 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (yes I used the back side!)
• Calypso Coral Matte 3 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
• Basic White 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

For this card 2 of the Huge Thanks images were stamped, one in black ink the other in Mossy Meadow ink. The birds on the black inked image were colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers and fussy cut (sort of tedious). These birds are popped up with Dimensionals.

Here’s a close up of the card done on my Video Tutorial . The first image was heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder while the image for the birds was embossed with Black Embossing Powder. These birds were adhered with Glue Dots instead of Dimensionals and I liked using the Glue Dots best.
