More Butterfly Flight Cards

Today I’ve got two more cards created with the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies.

The first card uses some papers from the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. I did have a hard time covering up the blue foiled layer in the background so I used the largest Perennial Postage Die to cut out the center and saved it to use on another project, lol. The vellum butterfly is the last one from the set that I did on my video tutorial. All of the vellum butterflies except the one that I ruined when die cutting eventually found homes on cards. I really liked the pink glimmer bodies on the vellum. It really makes the butterfly pop.

I wanted to make one card that was a bit more masculine so I pulled out the Country Woods Designer Series Paper to create a barn wood or shed looking background. Instead of adding a matte layer, I chose to draw a frame around the DSP with a Journaling Pen.

I finished the card with Linen Thread bow and some Pearls of Beauty gems.
