Hello and welcome to The Roost! Today I’ve got some fun cards created using an Accordion Fun Fold. Speaking of accordions have any of you ever played one? I remember taking accordion lessons for a VERY short time as a child. I wasn’t very good at practicing, lol.

My first card uses the Waterside Retreat Designer Paper and doesn’t use a single stamp! The greeting was created using the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies. I love how this card turned out! It was made for my grandson Bryson who is turning 15 next month. He is an avid fisherman.

The life jacket and paddle have been fussy cut from one of the patterns of the Waterside Retreat DSP (Designer Series Paper) and the fishermen in the boats, also from the DSP, was die cut with the Nested Essentials Dies. The rope coil is a length of Linen Thread adhered with a Glue Dot.

The card opens to a lake FULL of fish (more DSP from the Waterside Retreat Pack). Two fish have been fussy cut from the paper and adhered to the accordion folds to add even more fun. A third fish was fussy cut and added to the inside greeting area.

This sweet card combines some of the newest Stampin’ Up!® products with some retired designer paper. I have a few sheets, hahahah, like a closet shelf full. I need to use that pretty paper where people can see it rather than have it sitting on a shelf!

The letters are cut with the Luxe Alphabet Hot Foil Dies. They are done with the Light Pink Foil and layered onto a strip of Vellum to set them off from the berries in the paper.

A couple of left over butterflies from another project landed on the accordion folds inside the card. These butterflies were done with the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies and Masks.

Hello Halloween! I absolutely love Halloween, not the gruesome stuff but the cute black cats, Casper the Ghost and the Great Pumpkin kind of things. This card uses items from the Frightfully Fun Suite. The center cat was colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers and the greeting is on a label die cut with the Arches Dies.

Inside are more cats with one friendly ghost. I’m going to have to make at least one more of these. I have two cat crazy grandsons. They are sure to love this card.

One sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP will make 2 cards.
