Begonia Belle Product of the Month Stamp Set

Hello and happy Friday! When I let the dog out at 5 am it was raining, YAY! Not exactly yay that the dog got wet but yay that I didn’t have to drag hoses around today watering gardens.

So here is a photo of an actual Begonia from one of my gardens. I thought I would start off with it as inspiration.

The Begonia Belle stamp set is only $5 with a $75 purchase so it was a no brainer to add it on to my last order. I probably wouldn’t have bought this set at full price but I can’t pass up a deal like this. Plus, I was sort of in a Begonia mood since mine in the garden were looking so good this year.

I started by stamping a dozen or so images in various colors. I couldn’t get any to match the brilliance of my actual flowers.

I found that sticking to closely matched colors worked best for me, for example; Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry, Crisp Cantalope and Calypso Coral, and Garden Green with Mossy Meadow for leaves. But I would encourage you to experiment and see what YOU like.

I liked the images best on Basic White cardstock rather than on colored. I also found that I needed to let the ink dry before I decided how well I liked the image.

This set begs for fussy cutting OR even better a matching die set, lol.

The greetings included with the stamp set match up great with these images and will work with multiple occasions. The dotted background stamp can be used randomly or lined up by flipping it upside down and lining up the ends of the images.

I love the little blossom stamp and leaves. I want to try fussy cutting a bunch and making a bouquet with just them. For some reason I can see a bridal bouquet of them, now I need to find a matching baby’s breathe image, lol.

So when your order reaches $75 be sure to check out the Product of the Month Specials. Each month there is a new special and each person can only order one. If there are any left over from one month to the next they can still be ordered if you haven’t already gotten it. They are only available while supplies last though, so it’s best to order towards the beginning of the month if you really want the current item.
