YAY! I finally attended an event that included swapping so I have a bunch of gorgeous cards to share from other creative stampers!

Because I’m focused on the Everyday Arches Die set this week I’ve chosen a couple of cards featuring the dies. The first is from my team member Sandy Reid.

This card also features some gorgeous blending! The colored arch is first die cut from the 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White, then before removing the arch both pieces are run through the Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine with the Sunflower Folder. A second larger arch is cut from Highland Heather cardstock to add a frame.

The rainbow colors were added using Blending Brushes. A small Arch Die cut was used for the greeting label and it has also been lightly colored with a Blending Brush. The greeting comes from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set.

Jill’s card uses layers of the Everyday Arches Die cuts to lead the eye to the focal point. I love the extra details that she has added. Tone on tone butterflies stamped on the card base background, Wink of Stella on the butterflies and a decorated interior.

Most swaps don’t require anything on the inside of the card, but I always love it when someone goes the extra mile and decorates the inside. I love the greetings from the Prayers & Promises stamp set. The butterflies are from the All Aflutter stamp and Punch Bundle.

Speaking of butterflies, we have had dozens and dozens of Monarch butterflies here for the last week. It’s simply magical! I don’t ever remember seeing so many all at one time. They sit on our driveway and I feel like royalty when I walk down to the barn and they all fly up before me like some type of fanfare, lol.

I hope that these cards inspire you. As I’m typing it’s raining outside my window so it’s a great day here for crafting. I’m looking forward to my Creative Cards Class next Wednesday to see how well the ladies like the cards I’ve chosen, all with an arches theme.
