Happy Friday 😁 It’s been a busy week here at the Roost. I’m getting into a fall mood and doing some cleaning and thinking about moving around some of my plants before it gets cold. (Why the heck did I put a tall Peony in the FRONT of my flower bed?)

Today I have a super cool Halloween card created by Jodie Schmidt.

Jodie has used a Flip Flap to create a miniature shaker card element. I had to experiment to find out how she embossed the Flip Flap with the Web of Fun Die without cutting it.

I found that on my Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine that by removing plate #2 (Die Plate) and substituting the plate #4 (Specialty Plate for 3D Embossing Folders) for one of the cutting plates (#3) the Flip Flap would emboss but not cut.

The Raven from the Raven’s Tale stamp set (he is WAY bigger than I realized) is on a layer which swings out. It is attached to the front of the card base and does not act as a latch to close the card.

When the Flip Flap and Raven are opened a die cut greeting from the Web of Fun Dies is totally revealed as well as some stamping on the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper.

Inside are some more die cuts (Boo & Spider) with a stamped web.
