Which Cat is YOUR Favorite?

The fun Oh My Fright stamp set has two cats in it. One that I like to call the Scaredy Cat and the other the Cat in the Hat (sorry Dr. Seuss).

Here is the Scaredy Cat. He has been stamped on Basic Gray, heat embossed with Black Embossing Powder and his eyes were colored with a White Watercolor Pencil.

This fun layout is called a Side Step Card and you can see how to make it on my Side Step Fall for Fun Video Tutorial The card in the video used the Fall for Fun stamp set but the layout is the same as for this card.

Did you notice the little ghost embellishment? The Adhesive-Backed Bats Ghosts & Dots pack of embellishments is a must have for Halloween cards this year.

Here is a Pop-Out Wiper card featuring the Cat in the Hat. He looks pretty smug, don’t you think? I’ve colored him with the Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends to look like my barn cat, Jinx.

Last night Jinx ducked in the door with the indoor pets. That’s the first time he’s ever done that. I think he’s lonely out in the barn now that my horse is gone. They were buddies. I think another barn cat is in our future, to keep Jinx company.

I haven’t tackled doing a video on this card technique yet. The mechanism for the pop-outs is a bit complicated. If I get brave I might do it in a Christmas card next month.

So which cat is your favorite?

Here is a link to the Frightfully Fun Suite Collection which was used for these cards. Be sure to add the Product of the Month to your order for only $5.
