Today’s card may look familiar. A while ago I posted a swap card from Carol Rosengren and I loved it so much that I CASE’D it (Copy and Share Everything) for my September Creative Cards Class.

When I purchased the Capturing Smiles Bundle, I envisioned using it for my scrapbooking, BUT, I haven’t opened a scrapbook all summer and I really loved the film strips and the way Carol decorated the camera. It’s so darn cheerful!

The Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder used on the Basic White backdrop adds some whimsy while the narrow Basic Black frame really makes it pop.

The film strips are die cut from Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, and Coastal Cabana papers. The Basic White strips for stamping the negatives were cut 7/8″ x 2 3/4″ and then trimmed to length after adhering to the film strips.

The black twine and gems are from my retired stash of products. The twine is adhered with a glue dot under the holder, there was no way I was going to get that thick twine through the little hole, lol.

Here’s the inside of the card. The large greetings are perfect for scrapbooking but fit on cards too. (Now I just need to get in the scrapbooking mood!)
