Swap Card Friday

The sun is finally shining and I spent almost 8 hours at the Virtual Card Retreat last evening. What an awesome start a day! If you didn’t purchase the Virtual Card Retreat you still can!

Actually, it’s probably easier to create the cards from the video replays than doing them live. Way less stressful, lol! My computer decided to lock up and lose sound in the middle of one card. Grr… That card may look a bit different from everyone else’s hahaha…

So, today I have two cards to share with you that I love! The first card features Pooh Bear, one of my favorite characters and the second card features a cute scarecrow which makes me think of Fall, my favorite season.

As I was waiting for this photo to load, I actually read the locations on this map (Silly Old Bear DSP) and how cute! Things like Eyeores Gloomy Place and Sandy Pit Where Roo Plays, lol. I love it! I hadn’t taken time to actually read the map before now.

This card is so easy to create! A Very Vanilla base, The map design of the Silly Old Bear Designer Paper, and the die cut matte and image from the same Silly Old Bear DSP.

This greeting and frame on the inside match the image on the front perfectly!

The second card, created by Jill Weber, is a Book Fold. I love the Book Fold Technique! It starts as an 11″ x 4 1/4″ base, scored at 5 1/2″ and 6 1/2″. The next layers are 3/4″ x 4″ and 4 1/4″ x 4″. On top of that are DSP and Cardstock that is 1/2″ x 4″ and 4″ x 3 3/4″. Then the real fun begins!

Stamping, Coloring (with Stampin’ Blend Markers), and Die Cutting create this cute fall scene, all created with the Fun for Fall Bundle.

The ‘book’ opens to a cheerful greeting sure to get a smile.

Hope you enjoyed these fun cards as much as I did! Hope you have a great weekend. Enjoy some fall scenery where you live.

Here are the links to the main products used to create these cards. Be sure to add card stock and marker colors to suite your preferences.
