Isn’t this sloth just too cute? He makes a great card for someone recovering from knee surgery or a broken limb. The coloring on this card is done with Stampin’ Blends.

Directions:

Cut a Mint Macaron card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″.

Cut 2 pieces of Soft Suede 5 1/4″ x 2″.

Cut 1 piece of Whisper White and 1 piece of Mosaic Mood Designer Paper 5″ x 1 3/4″. The White piece will be stamped and colored and be placed on one of the Soft Suede pieces for the top flap and the Mosaic Mood piece will be layered onto the second Soft Suede piece on will create the bottom flap.

Use scraps of the Mint Macaron and Soft Suede to create the greeting, cutting out with the Tailored Tag Punch. To make the Suede layer fit behind the Mind one, simply cut it in half lengthwise and spread apart to adhere to the back of the greeting.

Be sure to only put adhesive on one side of the sloth piece and on the opposite side of the greeting/Mosaic piece. You don’t want to adhere the pieces to both sides of the card front or your card won’t open. Don’t laugh, it’s actually easy to forget and put glue on the whole back!
