Magic in This Night Squares Halloween Card

For this card start with 6 pieces of Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper cut into 1 1/2″ squares. Layer the squares onto a 3 3/8″ x 5″ piece of Cajun Craze cardstock. The sparkly Black Glittered 3/8″ Organdy Ribbon is tied around the Cajun Craze layer and knotted. The sparkly Black Glittered Organdy ribbon is great for all year round not just for Halloween.

Next, layer this onto a 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Proud Peacock cardstock. The cardbase is Blackberry Bliss cardstock which is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″.

The creepy spider is stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder on Vellum cardstock and cut using the Halloween Magic Dies. Two of the Iridescent Pearls are added, one to the head and one to the body.

The leaves that are tucked behind the greeting medallion are cut with the Halloween Magic Dies from Proud Peacock cardstock.

For the greeting medallion, I started with a scalloped circle cut from the Black Glitter paper with the Layering Circles Dies. This is added to the card with dimensionals. The next layer is a Cajun Craze scalloped circle and is also adhered with dimensionals. The final whisper white greeting is stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and is adhered with tape runner.

Inside View

To finish out the inside of the card, I’ve added a whisper white piece cut with the Stitched Rectangle Frames Die and stamped the greeting with Blackberry Bliss. I had a row of the Clear Embossed spiders on the Vellum cardstock left over so I added that to the bottom of the Stitched Rectangle piece.
