It’s time for DOswts345 Challenge. Today we have a layout or sketch for inspiration and I’ve decided to pair it up with the Beautiful Autumn stamp set and the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I ended up making two cards. My son Ethan was chopping and freezing onions from our garden and I was playing hooky. I figured that by the time I got 2 cards done he would have all of the onions chopped. Both cards use the same basic supplies and of course the same basic layout with a bit different sizes for the various layers.

For the Hey There card, the Mint Macaron cardbase has been stamped with the wheat stem and the leaves using VersaMark ink. The dimensions of the pieces are as follows:
Gilded Autumn strips 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Gilded Autumn square 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Cinnamon Cider Mat 1 7/8″ x 4″
Whisper White Greeting Layer 1 3/4″ x 3 7/8″
The greeting is stamped with Cinnamon Cider ink and the leaves are stamped with Early Espresso and Cinnamon Cider. The leaves have also been covered with Wink of Stella.

For the Grateful card, the Mint Macaron cardbase was left unstamped. I left off the extra layer of Cider cardstock that was under the whisper white greeting layer on the Hey There card. Here are the measurements for the Grateful card:
Gilded Autumn strips 1″ x 4″
Gilded Autumn square 3″ x 3″
Whisper White 2″ x 4″

There is a cute trio of punches that match up with Beautiful Autumn stamp set and can be purchased as a bundle with the stamp set for a 10% discount. I didn’t use them on these cards, but would recommend purchasing them with the stamp set. I have added the bundle to the product list.
