Baby Shark CASE the Catalog

The inspiration for this card come directly from page 46 although I have tweaked it a bit to suit my tastes. Below is the original from the catalog:

The catalog version uses a Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out the designer paper layer and also adds a strip of card stock across the bottom. I swapped out the Coastal Cabana shark for a Pacific Point color instead and made some Gorgeous Grape seaweed instead of the Calypso Coral ones. CASEing (Copy And Share Everything) a card from the catalog is a great way to get started.

If you purchase the Shark Frenzy stamp set or Bundle (You NEED the Bundle!) be sure to throw a pack of the Whale Of A Time Designer Series Paper onto the order as well. The Whale Of A Time DSP coordinates so well with the Shark Frenzy stamp set and makes such great backgrounds for the shark family. The Whale of a Time DSP is so much fun to work with because it coordinates with so many fun, bright colors. I haven’t yet put the Whale together with the Sharks but hmmm…. I think I need to try that!

Dimensions and Tips:

Card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

Layer 1: 3 3/4″ x 5″ covered with Doo Doo stamp inked with Crumb Cake

DSP Layer: 3″ x 4″ – The DSP is 6″ x 6″ so cutting it to 3″ gives enough for 2 cards

Baby Shark Tag: 1 1/2″ wide punched with the Triple Banner punch to make the tail

I finally bought my new planner calendar the other day and the one that I bought has a quote of the week. I really liked this week’s quote from the Dalai Lama so I thought I would share it with you:

Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.
