The pretty Hydrangea Hill designer series paper makes a pretty, soft back drop for these butterflies from the Butterfly Beauty die set.

The large butterfly die from the Butterfly Beauty Die set cuts a large swarm of butterflies. I cut these apart and used just the two. I cut 4 pieces of vellum card stock, one for each half of each butterfly, and adhered them to the back of the butterflies. I found it easier to cut the vellum first before adhering to the butterflies. It was tricky to trim after it was adhered. Once the liquid glue was completely dried, I colored the back of the vellum with a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker.

The greeting is stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink onto a piece of Purple Posy (retiring in color that I love for soft backgrounds!). I’ve cut it out with the smallest Layering Ovals (retiring) die and popped it up with dimensionals onto the next largest Layering Oval, cut from Gorgeous Grape paper.
Paper Dimensions:
Purple Posy Base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Gorgeous Grape 4″ x 5 1/4″
Hydrangea Hill DSP 3 3/4″ x 5″

To finish off the card, I added a sprinkling of 5 Faceted Gems, but the clear color doesn’t show up well in the photo. I was going for a water droplet effect but the Rhinestone Jewels may have been a better choice.
This is the last of my cards showcasing the Beauty Abounds Bundle. I hope that you have enjoyed the ideas that I’ve shared.
