Way to Goat Split Negative

Create 2 cards at once with the Split Negative Technique. For best results use the Stamparatus to ensure proper placement so that both images line up. Start with 2 pieces of card stock, one black and one white, each 2″ square. Stamp the white one with black ink and stamp the black one with VersaMark and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder. Cut the image in half and layer onto 2 – 2 1/4″ squares of colored card stock. On this card, I’ve used Misty Moonlight.

I’ve used the 2020 – 2022 In-Color paper pack for behind the goat. The bumblebee layer is 3″ x 4 1/4″ and the Cinnamon Layer is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and covers the entire Basic White Thick card base.

On the inside, I’ve added a 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strip of the Cinnamon Designer paper at the bottom and one of the cute greetings from the Way to Goat stamp set.

Have some fun with the Split Negative Technique! Try different paper colors or ink colors for a unique look.
