Swap Card Friday with a Pansy Patch

Today’s swap cards both use the beautiful Pansy Patch Stamp Set and Dies. My pansies out in my garden are finally happy and looking good! We have gotten some much needed rain and warmth.

Pansy Patch Card By Anna Palmer

Anna’s card starts with a Polished Pink base which is topped by a 5 1/4″ x 4″ layer of Basic White, embossed with the Painted Textures Embossing folder. Next is an additional layer of Polished Pink card stock which is 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″, which is topped by a 3″ x 4″ piece of the gorgeous Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. The pretty half opened bud is cut with the Pansy Dies, using Evening Evergreen, Polished Pink and Basic White. The greeting is stamped in Polished Pink ink onto a piece of Basic White and die cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Pansy Patch card by Cathy Peck

Cathy’s card starts with a Blackberry Bliss card base. For some reason it came out looking almost black in my photos but it really is Blackberry. Both layers of the Pansy Petals Designer Paper are cut 3″ x 5″ and are twisted rather than stacked, to give a look at both designs. The pretty pansy is stamped with Daffodil Delight and Blackberry Bliss inks and the Clear Epoxy Dot is colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. The image label is cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Little tails of Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon peek out from behind the label.
