I had the Bloom where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper out the other day to create my card for the STARS blog hop and I had this strip left over and thought it would make a nice backdrop for some strawberries. The Bloom where You’re Planted strip was 1 1/2″ wide and I cut it to 5″ long.
For punching out the strawberries with the Strawberry Punch, I found it best to cut my paper into strips just wide enough for each image, stamp, color, and then punch. Do make sure that the images are situated in the correct orientation for the punch. This way, there wasn’t as much wasted paper. It only cut out the image that was being worked on and maybe a snip of the other images from the punch. Watch my Sweet Strawberry Punch Video to SEE what I’m trying to say.

The strawberries and their tops are outlined in Tuxedo Black ink. Two of the outline leaf stamps are inked in Tuxedo Black and two are inked with Evening Evergreen. It gave a slightly different look and I actually liked both so used all of them. The leaves are then filled in with the Evening Evergreen ink on the solid stamps.
