The Measure of Love stamp set has a scale with with bunches of fun items to put on it. the apples make perfect hearts if you leave off the stems!
I stamped a bunch of scales onto 3″ x 4″ pieces of Basic White cardstock and then added different items in the bowls and used different colors to create a stack of unique Valentine cards. The bowl and cupcakes have separate stamps to fill in the color but the scale itself did require some coloring. I used Stampin’ Blend Markers to color the scale. This card was done in all soft greens with the background from the Pansy Patch DSP.
For a really bright, happy card, I used all yellows with a Sunshine & Rainbows DSP background.
This card uses the stack of cupcakes stamp instead of the bowl of apples. The background paper is from the Sunshine & Rainbows designer paper.
This card has a strong Bermuda Bay theme.
Isn’t it amazing how different the same basic card can look with the colors switched up?
