I finally was able to play with the Foam Adhesive Sheets that I ordered while I was in Florida but had shipped to my home in Minnesota. Wow are they awesome for popping up words! The large thanks die cut was adhered directly to the paper using liquid glue. The Foam Sheet was added to the paper before the top thanks layer was die cut.

I wondered how they would work to run through the Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine, but no problems, with either the big machine or the mini. The only caution that I have to add is to be very careful when removing the adhesive backer when you are ready to adhere the words to the card. The longer the word, the more tricky. Be sure that the word doesn’t fold back onto itself. Three hands would be nice.

The tree image is stamped with Evening Evergreen ink onto a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Soft Succulent and the card base is Just Jade. The bottom word die cut is Evening Evergreen and the top is Soft Succulent. Three Classic Matte Dot Embellishments are added to the bottom right corner.

The Amazing Silhouettes stamp set does’t have any greeting stamps, so I pulled in a greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set for the inside. I thought it went well with the overall design of the card. The butterfly was inked with Soft Succulent ink and stamped off before stamping over the greeting.
I thought I would share this quote today about patience because that’s a good thing to use when removing the backer from the words, lol.
