One of the most enjoyable things for me, about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is getting together with my team and stamping! The card that I’m sharing today is one that I created at one of the Hollywood Stamping Chicks Team stamps. Thank you Helen Helgeson for sharing your stamps and dies!
I had so much fun stamping and coloring the flowers from the Happiness Abounds stamp set! I ended up using 6 large flowers 4 sprigs and 5 leaves. The card base is a standard 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ thick basic white. Next, is an old olive layer which has been embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and rubbed with a bit of old olive ink applied with a sponge dauber.
The next layer uses my very favorite die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies! It makes the holes from a spiral bound notebook, cool right!! I stamped this whole layer with the ‘wonderful’ greeting. Do you remember sitting in class doodling in a note book? That’s what inspired this layer. It was a tough choice on wether to cover the spiral holes or put more flowers on, but the flowers won out. A sprinkling of 2 different tones of the Brushed Metallic Dots finished off the card.
